ENVIRONMENT
Capsis Hotels have shown a special concern for the environment, by being involved in a wide spectrum of actions. We aim to preserve and protect the environment while maintaining a sense of environmental consciousness in all of us.

Some of our actions…

HEATING
In respect to the environment, we use natural gas as our power source for central heating, circulating throughout all our hotel facilities. Also, our environment – friendly boiler supplies our hotel with warm water all day long and throughout the whole year.

LIMITED USE OF DETERGENTS  

By formulating a pioneering action, Capsis Astoria in Heraklion, minimized the use of detergents simply by asking the visitors whether they wish an everyday replacement of their towels or not. Many visitors welcomed this action realizing that even a small “green” effort can make a big difference in our world.

ACCESS TO THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED

Capsis Hotel is carefully designed to enable access to the people with special needs throughout all main hotel facilities as well as rooms. There are rooms and toilettes throughout our hotel that are particularly adjusted to meet the needs of individuals who use wheelchairs to transport themselves.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE PEOPLE WITH “DOWN SYNDROME”

Through your stay at Capsis Hotel you have the opportunity to support the people with the “down syndrome”.

CULTURAL HERITAGE
Capsis Bristol is a proud member of Greek Historical Hotels Yades Heritage and Hospitality - Historic Hotels of Europe. The building was the city’s post office. In 1917, it was miraculously saved from a catastrophic fire that destroyed a major part of the city. Lena Capsis, renovated the whole building and decorated it with fine furnishings, antiques, and luxurious fabrics, bringing this masterpiece of 19th century architecture back to life.
